Trang into Grand Prix semis
Vietnam's Vu Thi Trang faced no difficulty while entering the semi-finals of the Chinese Taipei Grand Prix badminton tournament.
The No 5 seed on October 16 defeated the Republic of Korea (RoK)'s Kim Ye-ji 21-16, 21-13, at the Hsing Chuang Gymnasium.
She will next play another the RoK's Kim Hyo-min who overcame Liang Xiaoyu of Singapore 21-19, 21-13.
The other semis will see Lee Jang-mi of the RoK play No 2 Chen Jiaynan.
On the men's side, Simon Santoro will meet his countryman Sonu Dwi Kuncoro and Tzu Wei Wang of the host will face Ihsan Maulana Mustofa of Singapore.
