Trang enters 2nd round of Kawasaki
Local favourite and No 1 seed Vu Thi Trang booked a place in the second round of the Kawasaki Vietnam International Series 2015 in Danang on October 1, beating Indonesia's Linda Agnes 21-10, 21-4 in just 23 minutes.
Trang's next rival will be Ong Ren-Ne of Singapore, who crushed Vietnam's Tran Thi Linh Giang in the first round.
Trang is aiming to defend her singles and doubles titles at this year's event, which has total prize money of US$5,000.
The event has attracted nearly 150 players from Indonesia, Singapore, Canada, Malaysia and Thailand.
