Tran Thi Khanh Ly wins Asian wushu gold medal

Tran Thi Khanh Ly won a gold medal at the ongoing Asian Wushu Championships which began in Taoyuan City of Chinese Taipei on September 1.

Ly triumphed in the women’s taijijian event with 9.69 points. She also bagged a silver in the taijiquan with 9.65 points.

Earlier, her teammate Tran Xuan Hiep came second in the men’s gunshu event with 9.67 points. Meanwhile, Nguyen Thuc Anh grabbed a bronze in the women’s nanshu discipline with 9.53 points.

The championship concludes on September 5.
