Tran Thanh Luc crowned champion at VBSF-APLUS 2025 National Carom Cup
VOV.VN - Tran Thanh Luc from Ho Chi Minh City delivered a confident performance in the final of the men’s 3-cushion carom event at the VBSF-APLUS 2025 National Carom Cup Championship on September 17, securing the championship title.
Nguyen Van Tai from Da Nang finished as runner-up after a strong showing, while Le Quoc Trung from Ho Chi Minh City and Phan Thanh Phong from Da Nang shared third place.
The tournament, held from September 10-17 and organized by the Vietnam Billiards & Snooker Federation with the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, drew nearly 400 athletes from 13 teams nationwide. Top players included Tran Quyet Chien, Bao Phuong Vinh, Nguyen Tran Thanh Tu, and Chiem Hong Thai.
The event highlighted the growing professionalism of Vietnamese billiards athletes and offered young talents a platform to compete, refine their skills, and gain experience, while also promoting Lam Dong’s culture, people, and tourism to domestic and international visitors.
