Three Vietnamese female referees to officiate at Women’s Asian Cup 2026
VOV.VN - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has appointed three Vietnamese referees to officiate at the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup finals, scheduled to take place in Australia from February 21 to March 22.
According to the list sent by the AFC to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the Vietnamese officials include referee Le Thi Ly (Ho Chi Minh City), referee Bui Thi Thu Trang (Hai Phong), and assistant referee Ha Thi Phuong (Hai Phong).
Le Thi Ly and assistant referee Ha Thi Phuong are set to officiate from February 21 to March 22, 2026, while referee Bui Thi Thu Trang will serve from February 21 to March 1, 2026.
The continued trust and appointments by the AFC highlight the expertise and credibility of Vietnam’s referee team at the continental level.
At the 2026 Women’s Asian Cup finals, the Vietnam women’s national team will compete in Group C alongside Japan, India, and Chinese Taipei. According to tournament regulations, the top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams, will advance to the quarterfinals.
