Teams qualify for AFC U-23 Championship 2020
VOV.VN -After recording a thumping 4-0 over Thailand in the final match of Group K on March 26, Vietnam successfully secured a place in the final rounds of the AFC U23 Championship which will take place in Thailand next year. In total, 16 teams will compete at the tournament.

Accordingly, there were 11 group winners that earned a direct spot in the AFC U-23 Championship 2020. They are Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Uzbekistan, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), the Republic of Korea (RoK), Japan, China, and Vietnam.
Thailand has a default place as the host of the 2020 AFC U23 Championship.
The four best second-placed teams, also earned a place in the finals next year. They include Australia, Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia.
