VOV.VN - Vietnam has dispatched a squad of top-tier athletes to compete at the 2025 Asian Kurash Championship, set to take place in the Republic of Korea on August 2.

Among the notable names are SEA Games 31 champion To Thi Trang and a group of experienced fighters expected to contend for top honors. The team arrived in the Republic of Korea on July 30 to complete final preparations ahead of the competition.

This year’s tournament features a full range of weight categories across both senior and junior divisions. Kurash, a traditional Central Asian wrestling discipline, has gained traction in Vietnam since 2008. At the 2022 edition, the Vietnamese team secured four medals, including one silver and three bronze.
