Series of amateur golf tours to open in Phu Quoc
VOV.VN - A total of three amateur tournaments, including the Vietnam Amateur Open (VAO), the Vietnam Ladies Amateur Open (VLAO), and the Vietnam Junior Open (VJO), are due to tee off at Vinpearl Golf Phu Quoc in July.
According to the scheduled, the VAO will run from July 13 to July 16, while the VLAO will take place from July 13 to July 15, followed by the VJO being held from July 19 to July 21.
Running with the theme of “Outdrive Your Passion”, the tournaments will be hosted by the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) and sponsored by Nam A Bank, featuring a number of attractive prizes.
This year, the events will gather together a total of 280 domestic and foreign golfers and will accept male players with a maximum handicap of 9.0 and female players with a maximum handicap of 15.0.
The three tournaments will create opportunities for both local and foreign golfers to share their various experiences and improve their skills.
Spanning a site of 100ha, Vinpearl Golf Phu Quoc is the largest golf course on the island and the second of its kind in the nation after Vinpearl Nha Trang.
