SEA rowing for U23, U19, and junior championships opens in Hai Phong

VOV.VN - As many as 264 athletes and coaches from seven Southeast Asian (SEA) countries have gathered together for the SEA rowing in the U23, U19, and junior championships which kicked off in the northern port city of Hai Phong on June 24.

The tournament is scheduled last through to July 1 with athletes competing for 43 sets of medals.

Hai Phong will continue to host the SEA canoeing for the U23, U19, and junior championships from July 1 to 7.

A total of 244 athletes and coaches from six countries will participate in the event, competing for 87 sets of medals.

The annual tournaments bring together the best athletes from national teams, U19 teams, and U23 teams of participating countries in Southeast Asia. They provide an excellent opportunity for the athletes to sharpen their skills ahead of international competitions, including the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Thailand next year.
