SEA Games 31: Vietnam tops medal table on May 11 with 10 golds

VOV.VN - Vietnamese athletes won six more golds on May 11, bringing their SEA Games 31 gold tally to 10, helping the hosts stay atop the medal table by the end of the competition day.

Besides four golds awarded on May 10, Kurash martial artists continued to bag two more golds on May 11 afternoon, beating their set target of winning five golds at SEA Games 31.  

In the men’s beach handball, Vietnam defeated Thailand 2-1 in the last match, clinching a gold medal.

In the morning, Vietnamese rowers and Pencat Silat martial artists bagged three gold medals.

By the end of the day, Vietnam jumped to top place with 10 golds, while Malaysia trailed behind with eight golds.
