Saigon Heat take aim at semi-finals of ABL

Saigon Heat had their sights focused on reaching the semi-finals of the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL), said Le Phuong Khanh, CEO of the team. 

ABL 2018-2019 will start on November 16 and Saigon Heat have been selected as the representative for Vietnam this season. They will face CLS Knights Indonesia in their first match in Surabaya, Indonesia on November 18.

The team have made recent changes to their line-up replacing defender Davonte Lacy with Trevon Hughes, who has played in other leagues outside Vietnam.

The Heat will have to face strong opponents including Macau Black Bears and Zhuhai Wolf Warriors from mainland China, as well as defending champions San Miguel Alab Pilipinas from the Philippines.
