Russia’s Korabelka crowned champions of VTV Ferroli Cup 2025

Russian club Korabelka claimed the title at the 2025 VTV International Women's Volleyball Cup (VTV Ferroli Cup) after edging out hosts Vietnam 3-2 in a thrilling final held on July 5 night in the northern province of Phu Tho. The win marked the second time Korabelka have secured the championship of the tournament.

Earlier in the day, Chinese Taipei secured the third place with a 3-0 win over the Philippines.

At the award ceremony, the organisers presented the championship trophy to Korabelka, while Vietnam took the runner-up title and Chinese Taipei earned the third place.

Several individual awards were also announced, including the best opposite spiker for Bich Tuyen of Vietnam, best libero for Nguyen Khanh Dang of Vietnam, best middle blockers for Palshina Elizaveta of Russia and Kan Ko-Hui of Chinese Taipei.

After eight days of competition, the tournament was hailed by experts as a success, marked by high-level performances and strong fan attendance. The event also served as an opportunity to promote Phu Tho’s cultural heritage and tourism to both domestic and international audiences.
