Russian boxer challenges MMA champion at Master Of Fights Championship

VOV.VN - Russian fighter Roman Kokurkin will face off against Pham Van Nam, who successfully defended his belt at the Mixed Martial Arts LION Championship (LC08), at the upcoming Master Of Fights Championship (MFC).

The bout is scheduled to take place on November 25 at the MCV Complex.

Nam has trained in many styles of martial arts for several years and currently trains at the national top Saigon Sport Club. His ability has never been in question following his second victory at LC08 in 2022 and 2023.

Meanwhile, Russian boxer Roman Kokurkin also boasts a number of impressive achievements, including his triumph at the Saint Petersburg Sambo Championships 2017.

Master Of Fights Championship, organised by MCV Group, is a professional martial arts alliance event which takes place in Vietnam. It consists of three competition disciplines  - MMA, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing.

This year, the competition will attract the participation of a number of well-known boxers from both at home and abroad.
