Quang Liem defends chess HDBank Cup crown
VOV.VN -Le Quang Liem successfully defended his title at the HDBank Cup International Open Chess 2017 held March 11-18 in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is the third consecutive year in a row that Liem has earned the title at the competition.
Liem put the match away after he successfully tricked grandmaster Stanislav Bogdanovich of Ukraine into a checkmate after four hours of play.
With the victory, 8.8 Elo points will be added to Liem’s FIDE rating.
