Quang Hai wins Asian Cup Best Goal

VOV.VN - Nguyen Quang Hai, Vietnam’s star player in midfield, has come top in a vote to determine the best goal scored at the AFC Asian Cup finals held in the United Arab Emirates.

The Asian Football Confederation selected ten of the best goals scored at the tournament and let the public choose the best one. The vote closed at 3pm on February 6.

Quang Hai topped the list with a total of 105,139 votes, accounting for 49 per cent of the overall votes cast.

The midfielder opened the scoring for Vietnam in the match against Yemen in the group-stage of the Asian Cup 2019.

With 78,647 votes, Wu Lei of China came in second with his strike against the Philippines, whilst third place went to Mohanad Ali of Iran with 9,144 votes.
