Paragliders soar like eagles in Danang
VOV.VN - The skies over Tien Sa Beach in the coastal central city of Danang came alive today (June 24) with the colours of soaring canopies resembling parachutes as a paragliding festival got underway.

Roughly 100 pilots from many countries registered to participate in the day’s competition, which saw them soar the thermal rising air like eagles taking flight, up to the clouds and embarking on amazing scenic flights.
It’s about as birdlike as it gets, said one of the pilots. He said many hang glider and paraglider pilots, who are familiar with the concept of soaring, are turning to the sport for what he calls a ride with the birds.
The event is just one of the many exciting activities for the 9-day Danang Summer Festival running June 17-25.
