Northern police units begin shooting, martial arts competition

VOV.VN -On April 4, the 800 men and women of the northern police force began their annual shooting and martial art competition at the Sports Training and Competition Centre in Hanoi.

The contests transpires over two days (April 4-5) and includes matches in Taekwondo, Karate, shooting and martial arts.

Female officers perform nunchaku at the opening ceremony.

Practicing nunchaku helps to regulate strength and breathing.

The sparring serves as a good occasion for young policemen of the northern units to show their will-power and martial arts skills.

It is also good training to help the officers deal with real-life tactical situations they will likely encounter.
