Ngo Dinh Nai shines at Hana Card PBA Championship
VOV.VN - Vietnamese cueist Ngo Dinh Nai shone whilst participating in the three-cushion carom category on July 17 at the ongoing Hana Card PBA Championship in the Republic of Korea.
Nai was able to beat his strong rival Eddy Leppen of Belgium with a final score of 15-6 in the round of 32.
Most notably, the Vietnamese player won KRW10 million, approximately VND180 million, from the organising board after being the first cueist in the tournament to score 15 runs in a single innings.
His quality performance was enough to earn Nai a ticket to enter the round of 16. This comes after his teammate Nguyen Quoc Nguyen also enjoyed victory to progress to the next round.
Despite the success of the local pair, another Vietnamese player Ma Minh Cam was forced to bow out of the tournament after suffering a defeat.
