New record set at National Clubs Shooting Championship 2021
VOV.VN - The start of the National Clubs Shooting Championship witnessed dramatic scenes on March 30 during the opening of the tournament at the National Sports Training Centre in Hanoi as one new record was broken.
Phi Thanh Thao successfully broke a national record in the 10m female air rifle category following the opening ceremony.
This year’s competition will feature the participation of over 200 athletes from 12 different clubs from across the country.
Competitors are set to be involved in both the male and female categories, with various events featured throughout the course of the tournament, including the 50m rifle, 10m air rifle, 50m rifle three positions, and 10m air pistol.
At present, the Military team top the medal tally with 10 golds, four silvers, and three bronzes.
Elsewhere, the team from Hanoi rank second with four golds, three silvers, and three bronzes, whilst third position goes to Ho Chi Minh City team with one gold, six silvers, and two bronzes.
Throughout the duration of the one-week tournament the country’s best shooters will be chosen to compete at numerous international tournaments in the coming time.
