National team train in rainy conditions ahead of Malaysia tie

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese national men’s football team held a training session on December 10 in the Bukit Jalil Stadium which will host the first-leg final match between Vietnam and Malaysia at the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018.

This is the first time the national team must practice under rain to prepare for the final round of AFF Cup 2018.
The coaching staff hope the rain will bring good luck to the team.
In the two previous training sessions the Vietnamese team exercised during midday.
Head coach Park Hang Seo has been trying to familiarize his players with conditions in Malaysia.
Rain usually affects Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon, with Mr. Park changing the team’s schedule as a result.
The rain stopped midway through the training session at the Bukit Jalil Stadium.
As usual, the head coach spent a few minutes talking tactics with his players.
The Bukit Jalil Stadium has a good-quality pitch.
The stadium has a capacity of 90,000 seats.
The players do some stretches to warm up.

The majority of the training session was held in private with reporters only being allowed to observe the first 15 minutes.
Vietnam will face Malaysia in the first-leg final match held at the Bukit Jalil Stadium at 7:45pm on December 11.

The second-leg final match is set for 7:30pm on December 15 at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.
