National team misses out on Liverpool friendly
VOV.VN -A friendly match between the Vietnamese national team and European giants Liverpool which is expected to take place in Hanoi during the summer will now not be happening, according to VFF General Secretary Le Hoai Anh.

Jurgen Klopp’s squad will now travel to North America this summer as part of their pre-season preparations rather than Asia.
Meanwhile, the Vietnamese team is set to compete at the King’s Cup in Thailand during the month of June.
Previously, Vietnam had welcomed Arsenal in 2013 and Manchester City in 2017.
