National team hold first training session in Myanmar

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese men’s football team took part in their first training session in Yangon on November 18 in preparation for their upcoming match against Myanmar in the ASEAN Federation Football (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018.

Heavy rain on November 18 caused the training session to be delayed by 60 minutes.
The footballers had to stay in the bus for 30 minutes to wait for the rain to stop. The training session was held at around 5pm (Vietnam time).
The team, led by head coach Park Hang Seo, were forced to hurry to try and finish their training session before sunset as the training pitch had no flood lights.
The training session was held behind closed doors.
Unfortunately, the Vietnamese footballers couldn’t train for the entire scheduled time because of the sun setting.
There is a positive and energetic atmosphere amongst the whole squad.
At the same time, the Myanmar squad practices behind closed doors at the Aung San Stadium.
Head coach Park Hang Seo and his colleagues are disappointed with the quality of the pitch.
Vietnamese footballers will take part in their second training session on November 19.

The match between Vietnam and Myanmar on November 20 will decide which team will top Group A.
