National squad prepares for Asian Cup opener against Iraq

| Vietnam have been placed in Group D alongside Iran, Iraq, and Yemen. They will face Iraq at 8:30pm (Vietnamese time) on January 8, before taking on a powerful Iran side on January 12. The final match of the group stage will be against tournament debutants Yemen on January 16. |
