Nam reaches singles quarterfinals of the VN F5 Futures
Vietnamese tennis player Ly Hoang Nam reached the men’s singles quarterfinals at the Vietnam F5 Futures – Hai Dang Cup 2018 in the southern province of Tay Ninh on November 1.

Nam easily beat Kunal Anand of India (6-3, 6-2) in the second round in one hour and 17 minutes.
The Tay Ninh–born Nam will next meet Robert Strombachs of German, the number six seed.
The same day, Nam and Roman Safiullin of Russia beat Samuel Shropshire and Paul C Oosterbaan (1-6, 6-2 and 10-6) in the men’s doubles quarterfinals.
Nam and Safiullin will take on number two seeded Yu Hsiou Hsu and Cheng Yu Yu of Chinese Taipei in the semifinals.
