Ly Hoang Nam drops 93 places in ATP rankings
VOV.VN - The nation’s leading Vietnamese tennis player Ly Hoang Nam dropped 93 spots to world No. 471 in the men’s singles category, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) announced on October 16.
This decrease can be attribute to his poor performances in recent tournaments, such as M25 Tay Ninh, the ATP Masters 1000 in Shanghai, and the ATP Challenger 75 in China.
Moving forward, the Tay Ninh-born will continue to take part in several ATP Challenger tourneys as a means of increasing his rankings.
Elsewhere, other tennis players such as Trinh Linh Giang and Vu Ha Minh Duc also dropped to world No. 1,561 and No. 1,982, respectively.
Novak Djokovic of Serbia topped the world rankings, followed by Carlos Alcaraz of Spain, Daniil Medvedev of Russia, and Jannik Sinner of Italy.
