Ly Hoang Nam back in world’s top 500 tennis players

VOV.VN - Vietnamese tennis player Ly Hoang Nam has jumped 27 places to 495th in the world top 500 of the Association of Tennis Professionals men’s singles rankings.

One week previously, he stood at 522nd in the world rankings. After achieving a second place at the Vietnam F2 Futures tennis tournament, he won 9 points to get 70 points in total.

In late September 2017 Nam had been among the world’s top 500 when he ranked 462nd in the rankings.

In the last week Hoang Nam dropped out in the quarter-final round of the Vietnam F3 Futures tennis tournament, he lost to Indian rival A.Kadhe 0-2 who went on to be crowned champion.
