Lotteria Football Challenge Cup 2015 kicks off
The Lotteria Football Challenge Cup kicked off on August 29 in six cities and provinces nationwide.
The junior football tournament was held by Lotteria Vietnam in collaboration with Vietnam's general department of sports and physical training and the Vietnam Football Federation.
This year, the tournament took place in Hanoi, HCM City, Vinh, Danang, Hai Phong and Can Tho with 64 participants.
The first round of the competition is in round-robin format with the best teams reaching the final, which will be held in Hanoi on October 10 on 61st anniversary of the liberation of the capital.
The winner will pocket VND60 million (US$2,600) in cash, while the second and third place receive VND40 million (US$1,700) and VND30 million (US$ 1,300), respectively.
