Local bodybuilders ready for world championships in the Maldives
VOV.VN - Vietnam has sent 20 athletes to compete in the 15th World Bodybuilding Championships, due to take place in the Maldives from November 5 to 11.
Among the participants are seven world champions, namely Dinh Kim Loan in the women’s 55kg bodybuilding, Nguyen Thi Kim Dung in the women’s fitness (1.65m), Bui Thi Thoa-Tran Hoang Duy Thuan in mixed doubles, Tran Bao Quoc Vuong in the men’s 65kg bodybuilding, Ho Huy Binh in the men’s 70kg bodybuilding, and Pham Van Phuoc in the men’s fitness (1.70m).
However, Pham Van Mach, who previously won the world championship title in the men’s 55 kg event six times, is absent from the tournament.
The 15th World Bodybuilding Championships will be organised from November 5 to 11 in the Maldives. The tournament will bring together 250 athletes from across the world, including 20 from Vietnam.
