Linh, Vi bag wushu bronze in Taipei championships

Nguyen Thuy Linh received a bronze medal at the Asian Wushu Championships in Chinese Taipei on September 4.

Linh came in third place with a 9.54-point performance in the women’s jianshu category.

Her teammate Duong Thuy Vi also bagged a bronze in the women’s qiangshu event with 9.66 points.

Nguyen Van Tai finished third in the men’s 70kg sanda (sparring) category.

Vietnam have nine athletes competing in the final matches of sanda in both men’s and women’s events.
