Le Tuan Minh claims gold at 2025 Asian Mind Sports Festival in Singapore

VOV.VN - Vietnamese Grandmaster Le Tuan Minh on November 15 secured a gold medal at the 2025 Asian Mind Sports Festival in Singapore.

In the blitz chess category, Minh drew with Indonesian rival Priasmoro Novendra in the final match, edging ahead by 0.5 points.

The Grandmaster finished with a total of 8 points from 7 wins and 2 draws, earning the top spot. Megaranto Susanto of Indonesia took second place with 7.5 points.

The festival, running from November 13 to 15, brought together leading players from across Asia and was co-organized by the Asian Mind Sports Association (AMSA) and the Singapore Chess Federation. Minh was the sole Vietnamese representative in the chess competitions, participating in both the blitz and rapid categories.
