Large number of runners join in Halong Bay Heritage Marathon
VOV.VN - Over 3,000 runners, including 1,600 foreigners, recently participated in the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2019 which took place in Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO recognized World Natural Heritage Site, in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

| This year’s marathon is the fifth event of its kind and represents one of the largest international marathons to be held in Vietnam. |

| The competition offers a range of routes for athletes to compete in, ranging from five km to 42km, including a track suitable for children. |

| Each of the routes on offer start and finish at the Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center. |

| Whilst taking part, participants have the chance to enjoy some of the spectacular views of the bay, in addition to the nearby picturesque mountains and coast lines. |

| Competitors running in the 21km and 42km routes aim to complete the course in approximately two hours. |
