Japanese and Vietnamese youths set for friendly judo bout

VOV.VN - 15 Japanese students will make a visit to Vietnam from March 6-14 within the framework of the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS 2017) program, according to the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam.

The visit aims to help Vietnamese youths to gain a broader knowledge of Japan through their Japanese counterparts’ introduction of the country’s politics, culture, history and foreign policies, contributing to deepening the mutual trust and understanding between the two countries.

15 Japanese students are scheduled to visit the Youth International Cooperation Development Centre (CYDECO) and Vietnam Judo Federation, and will play friendly matches with the national judo team and other judo teams in Hanoi and Nha Trang City in Khanh Hoa province.

JENESYS 2017 program is a project established by the Japanese government in the aim of providing a sound foundation for strong solidarity within Asia through large-scale youth exchanges.
