International Women’s Volleyball Tournament opens in Bac Ninh
VOV.VN - The 2019 LienVietPostBank International Women’s Volleyball Tournament kicked off in the northern province of Bac Ninh on February 22, bringing together eight competing teams from across the world.

| The competition is staged between eight teams: the Kazakhstan U23 team, a club from Fujian and another from Shanghai in China, a team from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and four Vietnamese teams including Thong Tin LienVietPostBank, Kinh Bac-Bac Ninh, Tien Nong Thanh Hoa, and VTV Binh Dien Long An. |

| The opening ceremony was held at the Bac Ninh Province Gymnasium. The teams are set to compete in two groups in a round robin format, with the best two teams from each group advancing to the next round. |

| After the opening ceremony, a match was held between Thong Tin LienVietPostBank and the U23 team from Kazakhstan took place. |

| Tran Viet Huong, 21, of the LienvietPostbank team stands at 1.78 meters tall. She is one of the top young talents featured in the tournament. |

| Viet Huong and her teammates showed their determination to win the big prizes at the tournament. The total prize money on offer is up to US$40,000 with the winner set to walk away with US$15,000. There will also be seven awards given to the best individual players, with prize money of US$2,000. |
