Huynh Nhu makes second appearance for Länk FC

VOV.VN - Vietnamese striker Huynh Nhu played for a total of 31 minutes for Länk FC Vilaverdense in her second appearance in the women’s first league Liga BPI in Portugal on September 25.

Länk FC took on Famalicao FC away from home, with Länk FC losing 3-1 to their rivals due to a series of mistakes in the first 20 minutes.

Nhu was brought in off the bench in the 59th minute as a substitute for Brazilian striker Malu Schmidt.

The Vietnamese player immediately put pressure on Famalicao FC’s players, creating a golden opportunity for her teammate Sini Laaksonen to score for Länk FC.

Nhu later had two more chances but ultimately failed to score. The fixture ultimately finished 3-1 in favour of Famalicao FC.

Following the match, the Portuguese top women's league Liga BPI will take a break in order to accommodate FIFA Days which are scheduled to take place from October 3 to October 11.
