Hue returns to play at volleyball tournament

Vietnam’s veteran volleyball player Pham Kim Hue will return to play for Vietinbank in the PetroVietnam - Ca Mau Fertiliser Cup 2018, said one of the organisers.

During 2018, Hue joined the training panel of Vietinbank and U19 Vietnam volleyball team as deputy coach.

Previously, she retired after playing 13 years for national volleyball team after the 2013 VTV Cup. However, as an outstanding player of Vietinbank, she was called back to the team for the Asian Women’s Volleyball Cup 2016.

Since then, she has played with national team in many tournaments and the SEA Games 29 in Kuala Lumpur in August 2017.

Veteran player Ha Thi Hoa will also return to the tournament.

The event will be held from October 31 to November 4 at Dak Nong Province Gymnasium with eight teams.

Men’s teams include Sanest Khanh Hoa, The Cong, Trang An Ninh Binh and Long An, while the women’s teams are VTV Binh Dien Long An, Ngan hang Cong thuong, Thong Tin Lienvietpostbank and Mikado Thai Binh.

First prize is US$4,200, second prize is US$2,000 and third prize is US$1,200.

Tickets cost from VND50,000 to 70,000. All matches will be broadcast live on VTVCab channels.
