Hoang Nam into final of Futures Vietnam F1 tennis tourney

This is the first time Hoang Nam has been paired with Quoc Khanh. They competed in the main round thanks to a special berth granted by the host country. However, the two Vietnamese tennis players surprised audiences by winning three consecutive matches to advance to the final of the event.

In the final match, Hoang Nam and Quoc Khanh will meet No 1 seeds Moritani of Japan and Barki of Indonesia.

In the men’s singles category, Ly Hoang Nam secured a place in the quarter-final and will meet Kazuki Nishiwaki of Japan on May 4.

The Futures Vietnam F1 tennis tournament is being held in Hue City and will run until May 6.
