Hieu Minh among top scorers at 2025 ASEAN U23 Championship Mandiri Cup™
VOV.VN - Vietnamese centre-back Hieu Minh has been ranked among the top 10 scorers in the group stage of the 2025 ASEAN U23 Championship (Mandiri Cup™), according to the official listing by ASEAN United FC.
Minh currently sits in second place after netting two goals in Vietnam’s 3-0 win over U23 Laos.
He shares the second spot with Haqimi Azim Rosli of Malaysia and Otu Bisong of the Philippines. However, Rosli is no longer in contention, as Malaysia U23 were knocked out early in the group stage.
Topping the chart is Indonesia’s Jens Raven, who leads with six goals.
The 2025 tournament features 10 teams split across three groups, with matches held in Jakarta and Bekasi. The winners of each group, along with the best-performing second-placed team, will advance to the semi-finals on July 25. The final is scheduled to take place on July 29 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.
