HCM City Women’s FC to field six foreign players in AFC Women’s Champions League

VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Football Club has finalized its foreign player roster for the 2025/2026 AFC Women’s Champions League, naming six signings, including several national team veterans.

The chosen players are Aubrey Goodwill, Chloe Gorman, Sakura Yoshida, Tatiana Mason (US), Maria Khan (Pakistan), and Ouni Samia (Tunisia).

Among them, Aubrey Goodwill, Sakura Yoshida, Tatiana Mason, and Maria Khan previously represented Ho Chi Minh City in last season’s AFC Women’s Champions League, helping the team reach the semifinals. Yoshida is a former U20 USA international, while Khan currently captains the Pakistan national team.

New additions Chloe Gorman and Ouni Samia bring impressive credentials. Gorman has played in the Danish Women’s League, while Samia, a Tunisian international, recently won the Saudi Women’s League with Al Nassr.

Ho Chi Minh City is drawn in Group A of the 2025/2026 AFC Women’s Champions League and will face Stallion Laguna (Philippines) on November 13, Lion City Sailors (Singapore) on November 16, and Melbourne City (Australia) on November 19.

The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-placed teams across the three groups, will advance to the quarterfinals.
