Hanoi Open Dragon Boat Race attracts 500 local and foreign rowers
VOV.VN - The Hanoi Open Dragon Boat Race 2022 took place on October 9 in West Lake in Hanoi as part of celebrations for the capital’s 68th Liberation Day anniversary and the 10th Capital Sports Congress.
The event also helped to promote the capital’s rich culture and unique history, as well as creating a vibrant occasion in which to attract tourists, whilst simultaneously being a forum for those who are passionate about boat racing.
The Hanoi Open Dragon Boat Race attracted the participation of 500 rowers, with teams divided into four professional and amateur groups from various districts of Hanoi, other cities and provinces, embassies, as well as foreign organisations and businesses.
The races saw gold medals go to the teams from Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ho district, the German Embassy, and West Lake Golden Buffalo.
