Hanoi hosts 40th Southeast Asia Shooting Championship
VOV.VN - The capital city of Hanoi has been awarded the honours of hosting the 40th Southeast Asian Shooting Championship, said the Vietnam Sports Administration on October 27 at a press conference.
The event will be held from November 1-12.
Tran Duc Phan, deputy head of the Sports Administration, said the competition is the biggest shooting event of Southeast Asia. It aims to give shooters in the region the opportunity to sharpen their skills in the lead up to the SEA Games.
Nearly 300 shooters from the seven countries of Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Republic of Korea and Vietnam have registered so far to participate in the competition.
