Ha Thanh wins gold at Doha World Cup
(VOV) -World champion gymnast Phan Thi Ha Thanh has won gold in the women’s beam event at the Artistic Gymnastics World Challenge Cup Series.
The young Vietnamese athlete clinched the title on March 27 at the Aspire Dome in Doha Qatar with a winning score of 14,250 points.
Giulia Steingruber of Switzerland finished in second place with 14.125 points. Third place went to Romanian Diana Bulimar.
This is her second medal at the tourney, having earlier claimed silver in the women’s vault event.
After World Cup 2015, she will join the national team in a training course in Canada to prepare for the 28th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games).
