Futsal HDBank National Cup 2020 kicks off
VOV.VN - The opening ceremony of the Futsal HDBank National Cup 2020 got underway in the Central Highland province of Dak Lak on November 22.
This year’s event marks the fourth version of the annual futsal tournament which is jointly organised between the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).
Tran Minh Hung, VOV Vice President, said it is hoped that through this year’s competition, VOV can progress with its efforts to develop futsal in provinces throughout the Central Highland whilst simultaneously promoting the nation’s passion for the sport.
The Futsal HDBank National Cup 2020 will involve the participation of eight teams nationwide, including Thai Son Nam, Thai Son Bac, Sahako, Sanatech Khanh Hoa, Kardiachain Saigon FC, Cao Bang, Quang Nam, and hosts Hung Gia Khang Dak Lak.
Following the conclusion of the opening ceremony, home side Hung Gia Khang Dak Lak kicked off the competition against Quang Nam. The first game marked a wonderful start for Quang Nam as they recorded a 2-1 victory over the host team.
The tournament is scheduled to last until November 26.
