Futsal HDBank National Championships kicks off in Khanh Hoa province
VOV.VN - The competition hall of Nha Trang university in Khanh Hoa province played host to the opening of the Futsal HDBank National Championships 2019 on April 15.

| The tournament will see a total of eight teams competing for the championship title and VND500 million in prize money. This year’s tournament features two newcomers; Quang Nam and Da Nang. All of the championship’s matches will be broadcast live on Vietnam Journey, VTC3 channels, and the VTC Now application. |

| The opening ceremony saw a range of art performances held to entertain the crowds. |

| Present the event were Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Vice Presidents Vu Hai, Tran Minh Hung, and Nguyen Xuan Huy, Vice chairman of Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Dac Tai, and Vice President of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Tran Quoc Tuan, along with other invitees. |

| Tran Minh Hung, VOV Vice President, said that through the tournament, VOV wishes to encourage futsal as a form of exercise for young people, promoting the nation’s love for the sport and in turn lifting it to new heights. |

| This year’s event is the third annual futsal tournament jointly organised between VOV, HDBank, and the VFF. |

| In the opening match, Sanna Khanh Hoa defeated Sanvinest Sanatech Khanh Hoa in a 4-3 thriller. |
