Football players earn US$50,000 bonus with AFF Cup semi-final berth
VOV.VN - Each player on the Vietnam football team will earn a US$50,000 incentive for making the AFF Cup semi-finals, according to multiple reports.

The team is headed to the semi-finals after wins over Myanmar 2-1, Malaysia 1-0 and Cambodia 2-1 in Group B of the AFF Cup.
Out of 11 attempts for a championship at the AFF Cup, the team has reached the semi-finals nine times. They won the title in 2008.
Vietnam will play second ranked Indonesia in Group A twice in the semi-finals— on December 3 in Indonesia and on December 7 at My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi.
