Football fans bad behaviour costs VFF US$38,000
VOV.VN -The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) found themselves in hot water for the misbehaviour of Vietnamese fans following their attack on an Indonesian bus earlier this month at AFF Suzuki Cup 2016.
The Asian Football Confederation slapped a US$38,000 fine on the VFF for unsportsmanlike conduct on the part of the Vietnamese fans for attacking the bus apparently because they were mad about an allegedly bad call by an official during the game.

FourFourTwo reported on its website that the Indonesian team’s goalkeeping coach received the worst injury, suffering extensive cuts to both legs and was treated on the scene by medical personnel.
“A replacement bus was eventually dispatched with a heavy security detail in place, including riot police travelling inside the bus, as it returned more than half an hour later to the team’s hotel”, the website said.
VFF General-Secretary Le Hoai Anh told FourFourTwo that he was “sorry” for the incident, which he blamed on the local police.
