Five young Vietnamese golfers compete at Taiwan Junior Golf Championship 2026
VOV.VN - Five young Vietnamese golfers are competing at the Taiwan Junior Golf Championship 2026, held from August 12 to 14 at Hualien Golf Club, Taiwan (China) alongside emerging talents from across the region.
Through a partnership with DiVan Golf, the organizers are supporting competition costs for the five Vietnamese representatives.
The three-day tournament offers these players a valuable opportunity to step onto an international stage, test their mettle against regional peers, and earn points on the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).
Their participation follows in the footsteps of established Vietnamese junior competitors who gained early international exposure, such as Nguyen Anh Minh and Le Khanh Hung.
Competing regularly in high-level international events accelerates experience gathering for young golfers and expands resources for future national teams.
In addition to leaderboard rankings, the tournament provides the young golfers with essential international experience, adaptability, and a clearer view of their standing relative to regional talents.
