Five countries to send teams to international youth football tournament
VOV.VN - The THACO Cup International Youth Football Tournament will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from March 22 to 30, bringing together students from across Southeast Asia.
The event will feature a total of six teams, including four Southeast Asian university teams from Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, and Malaysia, as well as two Vietnamese university teams.
The tournament will open on March 22 with a fixture between Ton Duc Thang University of Vietnam and Life University of Cambodia.
The six teams have been divided into two groups and will play in a round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-final round.
The winner will receive a cash prize of US$6,000. In addition, the second and third-placed teams, top scorer, best player, best goalkeeper, and best referee will also be presented with awards.
