First-class Vietfootball Cup 2018 to kick off in Hanoi
VOV.VN -The first-class football tournament, Vietfootball Cup 2018, will kick off at the Hanoi National University of Education Stadium on June 16, with the final to be played on August 26.

At a press conference on June 5, the organising board of the Vietfootball Cup says the tournament has attracted the participation of 12 local football teams. |

| They include Duong Noi FC, Hiep Hoa Group FC, UCE Le Duong FC, Quang Trung FC, Du Lich FC (Lao Cai), Tuan Son FC (Ha Giang), Suzika Huu Bang FC, To Ky FC, Tung An Hoa Lu FC, Tu Son FC, and Trieu Khuc FC. |

| Notably, former Vietnamese national team midfielder, Vu Nhu Thanh, singer Tuan Hung, MC Thanh Trung, and other U20 and U23 players will be competing at the event. |

| The winner will receive VND30 million in prize money, while the second and third placed teams will receive VND20 million and VND10 million, respectively. |

| The two best teams will earn the right to play in the Saigon Special Premier League 2018 (HPL). |
