Fighters claim seven golds at Asian Jujitsu Championship

VOV.VN - The national jujitsu team brought home seven gold medals in the U14 category of the second Asian Jujitsu Youth Championship 2025, which closed on February 13.

Vietnamese fighters secured eight silver and 18 bronze medals, placing third overall in the U14 category. Thailand led the medal tally with 15 gold, 16 silver, and 29 bronze medals.

The second Asian Jujitsu Youth Championship 2025 kicked off in Thailand on February 12 and will run until February 16.

A total of 536 athletes from 26 teams worldwide compete in the male and female competitions in the U14, U16, and U18 categories. The U14 events concluded first.

Vietnam’s youth jujitsu team comprises of 48 fighters and will continue to vie for medals in the U16 and U18 events from February 14 to February 16.
