Defender Bui Tien Dung participates in COVID-19 campaign by Health Ministry
VOV.VN - Bui Tien Dung, a star of the Vietnamese national football team, has changed his frame avatar on Facebook and called upon the community to unite for the cause of fighting the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The footballer expressed his hope that both adults and children will carry out all necessary measures to curb the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
The defender, who rose to prominence as part of the U23 team that finished as runner-up at the AFC U23 Championship 2018, also urges people to partake in physical exercise, eat plenty of nutrients, and enjoy a healthy daily life in order to protect themselves from various preventable diseases.
His actions are part of a campaign launched by the Ministry of Health from August 6 to September 30 with the aim of spreading the message of “Niem tin chien thang”, or “faith in victory” in English, in an effort to encourage all Vietnamese people to strengthen solidarity in the battle against COVID-19.
